Zariya: A New Era of Fashion
Zariya is a fashion label by Supriya Jain, a graduate of the Pearl Academy of Fashion in New Delhi. The label is defined by bold colours, statement clothing, and intricate embroideries. The brand was born out of Supriya’s love for bold colours, statement clothing, and embroideries.
The brand’s philosophy is ‘More is More’, and this is evident in every aspect of the designs. From the use of bright colours to intricate embroideries, each piece is designed to make a statement. The clothing is meant to be worn with confidence and attitude, and to make the wearer feel their best. The collections are created with the modern woman in mind. They are versatile enough to be worn for any occasion, whether it’s a day at work or a night out on the town. And they are always made with quality fabrics and construction so that they can be worn for years to come.
While studying at the Pearl Academy of Fashion in New Delhi, Supriya had the opportunity to live with tribals in Gujarat and learn about their fashion, embroideries, and tattoos. This experience inspired her to create contemporary designs that pay homage to traditional tribal fashion. After graduation, Supriya launched Zariya with her first collection “Prarambh: Ek nayi shuruwaat”. The collection was met with enthusiasm from both the fashion industry and consumers alike. This collection was created as an opportunity for Supriya to focus on what is important to her, and it truly shines through in the final product. Each piece in the collection is incredibly well-crafted, and it is clear that Supriya put her heart and soul into every aspect of the design process.
As a brand, our vision has always been to give people a creative and innovative edge to their wardrobe. We believe that by adding purpose and story to our clothing, we can create unique and luxurious items that are straight from the villages of India. Our USP is our uniqueness in embroideries. Every item we craft is something that you won’t find anywhere else, and that’s what we mean when we talk about a creative edge.
We’re constantly striving to improve upon our vision, and we firmly believe that there’s always room for growth. We want to continue creating beautiful clothing that tells a story, and we want to do it in a way that is sustainable and ethical. That’s why we work with artisans in India who use traditional techniques passed down through generations. We’re proud to offer clothing that is not only stylish and unique but also supports the livelihoods of these talented craftspeople.
The sole inspirations behind every concept that makes are India’s Banjaras. They are the real artists of India & real fashionistas. They not only define our art & culture, but they are also our art & culture.
We all share the same passion for design and fashion and it is truly a pleasure to be able to work with such talented individuals. She is so grateful to have such an amazing and supportive team who works together to bring her vision to life. She is constantly amazed by their dedication and hard work, and she knows that she would not be able to do what she does without them. They are truly a blessing in her life, and she is thankful for each and every one of them.
We usually wish for results very quickly & in that process only focus on the goal where the point is to enjoy the journey & most importantly build one. Always be a work in progress no matter how much you’ve already achieved. Currently, we do not have our stores but Yes, we are available in physical & online stores such as Aza, Pernia pop-up, elahe, Aashni &co., Elan, and Bhartis.
We did a collection of around 50 handcrafted ensembles as a reboot. Each garment had a story of its own in terms of colours & embroideries & cuts. We were showered with a lot of love from people who found the concepts very unique & told us that its a treat to the eyes because its something very fresh & hasn’t been done before. Our new collection is lined up & the launch will most probably be in February. Something that makes it different from the previous collection is the silhouettes & colour palette we are working on. We can’t wait to share it with you!
If you’re thinking about becoming an entrepreneur, Supriya has some advice for you: “Just don’t do it, find a purpose in it. Live with gratitude in your heart and a strong vision. Always remember it’s one step at a time and we all are a work in progress. “In other words, don’t become an entrepreneur just for the sake of becoming one. There has to be a greater purpose behind it. And once you’ve found that purpose, make sure you’re always grateful for what you have and keep your eye on the prize.
